Niamh Moran, Listing Executive

We are quite transaction-based, guiding issuers through the listing process and dealing with a huge variety of different parties every day: legal counsel, investment managers, the Irish Stock Exchange and the Central Bank to name a few.

I have built up many client relationships over the years and that is an aspect of the job that I really enjoy. As many of our clients are based overseas, we travel regularly to client meetings and new business opportunities. It’s good to be on the move.

Employee development is very important at Davy, and the company really encourages its people to work on that side. I have completed the Professional Diploma in Financial Advice (QFA), and have become a registered representative of the Irish Stock Exchange.

The company also offers an incredible range of sports and social activities, and in the past year alone I have tried pilates, Zumba, wine-tasting classes and tag rugby! I’ve met so many new people and made friends through trying new activities.

For me, it’s this rounded approach to employee development – personal and professional – that makes Davy such an enjoyable place to work. I guess it is a testament to my job to say that I have been here for over 11 years and can’t believe how quickly the time has passed!
