Davy Investment Fund Services (‘DIFS’) is a Non-UCITS management company). Alternative Investment Funds (‘AIFs’) are required to comply with their obligations under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (‘AIFMD’). AIFs can appoint DIFS to act as an external AIFM in order to meet their obligations under AIFMD.
DIFS is a core part of the Davy Group, providing services not only to third parties, but also supporting in-house funds. The board of DIFS has been specifically selected to ensure that the designated functions for which its directors are responsible for are being undertaken by individuals with the requisite expertise and experience.
DIFS was authorised as an AIFM by the Central Bank of Ireland on the 22nd July 2014.
J&E Davy, trading as Davy, is an investment firm providing investment management services to both in-house and third party Collective Investment Schemes (‘CIS’). Davy established its first regulated fund in 1997 and, as a result, we are very familiar with all aspects of managing and administering these structures. The firm is also authorised to provide a number other key services to funds such as distribution and listing. Davy is a lead Sponsor for investment funds wishing to list on the Irish Stock Exchange and is one of only three Sponsors to be represented on the Stock Exchange’s Investments Funds Listing Committee.
