Brian O’Reilly leads the Global Investment Strategy team at Davy Private Clients, and is a member of the Davy Investment Committee. In his role he is responsible for forming the division’s global investment and asset allocation strategy. Brian began his career as an analyst with Goldman Sachs in London before he went on to join UBS Warburg as a member of the banks global equity strategy team. He then worked for UBS on Wall Street during the financial crisis from 2006–2008, before being appointed Chief Investment Strategist for UBS Wealth Management in London. With over 15 years’ experience working for some of the world’s leading investment houses, Brian brings a truly global perspective to managing our clients' wealth.
Alan joined Davy in 2015 from New York. He has over 25 years’ experience in asset and investment management, and advising high net worth clients and global family offices in his previous role at UBS Investment Bank. Prior to working at UBS Alan was also the founder of hedge fund Black Arrow Capital Management, and has held previous roles at Deltec Asset Management, Bankers Trust and JPMorganChase. Alan is a member of Davy’s Global Investment Committee, with particular responsibility for managing Davy’s UK investment offering. Alan holds a B.A in Foreign Service and International Relations from the Pennsylvania State University.
Pat is Head of Private Clients and has 25 years' investment experience. He has an Economics degree from University College Cork and an MSc in Investment and Treasury from Dublin City University. Pat is a Registered Stockbroker and a member of the board of J&E Davy.
Dermot was previously Head of the Investment Services Division in Davy (1986 to 2000). Prior to joining Davy he worked with Guinness & Mahon Bank, initially as an Investment Manager and subsequently as a Director of Investment Services. Dermot holds a BA Degree in Economics from Trinity College, Dublin and a MBS in Banking and Finance from University College Dublin. He is a Registered Stockbroker and a member of the Securities Institute.
Adam has significant experience working with private individuals, corporates and family offices in designing customised portfolio solutions. Adam draws on a broad range of financial industry and professional experience having previously worked as a Manager with PWC in their Tax and Audit and Business Advisory Departments and before that as a Financial Analyst at Goldman Sachs in London. He is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the Society of Investment Analysts in Ireland, a Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) and a member of the Institute of Taxation Ireland and a Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) and a member of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.
