AerCap has managed to deliver an almost 50% beat on reported EPS, of which we estimate less than half was driven by gains on sale. These gains have become a stable feature of the earnings profile – 12 consecutive years of gains demonstrates the company’s conservative depreciation policy. As the company continues to leverage its scaled platform, we continue to see attractive value in the stock’s 20% discount-to-book.
