The Central Bank of Ireland report on the motor insurance data now captured in the claims database will maintain public scrutiny on the insurance sector, albeit progress on claims reform to date has been slow. Minister of State D’Arcy noted that the report shows that the insurance and legal sectors are both culpable for the difficulties with the price of motor insurance faced over the last number of years.
