Following the receipt of all remaining shareholder and regulatory approvals, Flutter Entertainment’s (Flutter) acquisition of The Stars Group (TSG) will complete on Tuesday May 5th (new shares to be admitted and to commence trading on that date). It comes at an important time for the industry, with recent developments impacting both the shape of global opportunities and, importantly, the competitive landscape. Against this backdrop, Flutter is set to become a faster-growing and more-balanced global proposition. Accordingly, its positioning and earnings power is now greatly enhanced.
