The clash between the EU/UK has intensified with an end-September deadline now set for the UK to set aside the provisions of the internal market bill that undermine the withdrawal agreement. With little hope of trade negotiations succeeding, the scene is now set for a major row next month around the time of the October 15th EU Council meeting, with both sides forced to consider a further fudge or the possibility of a ‘no-deal’ Brexit in January.
