DAVY VIEW
Despite the impact of the pandemic, the Irish housing market has had a surprisingly robust summer. A lack of new supply is supporting pricing, while underlying demand appears to have rebounded, almost to pre-COVID levels. The Budget announcement next week (October 13th) is an opportunity for the government to drive a better trajectory of supply into the medium term, which would create a positive environment for the sector in the coming years.
