Housing set to remain a key general election issue in Ireland

Ireland’s general election will be prominent in media headlines for the remainder of this month. An opinion poll published over the weekend continues to give an advantage to the main incumbent parties, Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil. The parties are seen as best-equipped to deal with the economy and infrastructure, although housing is seen as weaker amongst the electorate.
