AIB Group’s FY 2019 results presentation on March 6th is to include new financial targets but, given the uncertain macro-economic specific calendar year, ROTE targets are unlikely. Instead, beyond 2020 guidance, granularity is likely to be limited to the more controllable objectives of cost efficiency and significant non-performing loan (NPL) reduction alongside parameters for capital return.
