Symrise has posted a modest miss on the top-line as Scent & Care growth came in below expectations. A substantial slowdown in the North America region in Q3 signals that pockets of the US market have remained soft, a recurring theme for the ingredients sector since Q2. Adjacencies – particularly in Nutrition – will underpin management’s 5-7% organic growth target for this year.
