CRH has further extended its share buyback having returned c.€1.6bn to shareholders since the programme began in May 2018. With debt levels falling rapidly, the group is not short of capital allocation options to create value for shareholders. This, combined with its accelerating profit improvement plan, is a clear differentiator in the Building Materials sector in 2020.
