Flutter and Fox Corporation this morning announced that the Fox Bet platform will close on a phased basis between July 31st and August 31st 2023. Fox Corp will take the Fox Bet brand and intends to re-launch its Super 6 game later this summer. The Fox Bet platform had been loss making to the tune of c.$60m (detail below). Although this is largely in line with our expected outcome, it is a positive to get confirmation that these losses will be removed. Flutter will also retain ownership of the attractive PokerStars brand.
