Dalata has announced that is has agreed contracts to acquire the company which holds the operational lease of the 173 bed Hard Rock Hotel in Amsterdam. It is very well located in central Amsterdam, near the museum district this looks to be another strong addition to the Dalata portfolio. Management has flagged on numerous occasions that large European cities with a mix of leisure and commercial guests were on its interest list and this hotel clearly meets these criteria. The group continues to utilise its balance sheet to bolster growth and this acquisition, if completed, will be the third hotel to be added to the portfolio this year, having previously announced the 89 bed Clayton London Wall and the 191 bed Maldron Finsbury Park.
