Entain has announced that Gavin Isaacs has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective in early September. Stella David had been acting as Interim CEO since Jette Nygaard-Andersen stepped down last December. It is a positive development to see a permanent experienced CEO appointed and he has 25 years’ experience in the gambling sector. However, he will inherit a busy in-tray with various issues, including a period of underwhelming growth, market share losses and high leverage.
