Interims in line; on track for FY adjusted earnings expectations

Trading remains fairly lacklustre and the timing of recovery is still difficult to determine, but the H1 margin performance has come in comfortably ahead of expectations. This year has been complicated by the abnormal stocking cycle but, in our view, the business has proved resilient and the margin and cash performances especially impressive. We still see potential for a strong recovery as and when conditions improve and reiterate our ‘Outperform’ rating.
