Taylor Wimpey has outlined a set of medium-term targets that, if achieved, will transform the earnings and returns profile of the group. At the heart of the strategy will be unlocking and optimising value from the group’s landbank. The targets look ambitious and will clearly require a more supportive macro-economic backdrop than has been the case. All that remains to be seen, but more immediately Taylor Wimpey has also indicated that current year headline expectations remain in place.
