Davy Officially Launch Sponsorship of Cuala Hurling

December 2017

Davy is Ireland’s leading provider of wealth management, asset management, capital markets and financial advisory services and over the years has built strong connections with Cuala hurling.

Con O’Callaghan and Paul Schutte were today on hand as Davy officially launched its sponsorship of Cuala Hurling. This partnership will see Davy support the current All-Ireland, Leinster and Dublin champions in their continued pursuit of excellence.

Davy is Ireland’s leading provider of wealth management, asset management, capital markets and financial advisory services and over the years has built strong connections with Cuala hurling. Team captain Paul Schutte has worked with Davy since 2012.

Davy employs over 700 people across offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast and London. It encourages Davy employees to get involved with volunteering groups and engages regularly in initiatives that educate and inspire young people; to this end the partnership with Cuala hurling is an ideal fit.

Speaking at the announcement, Tom Butler, Director, Davy Private Clients, Davy, said: “Our focus in Davy is on delivering extraordinary results for our clients through our talented and experienced team. It is fair to say that Cuala hurling personifies this in a sporting sense and this partnership is something we are very excited about and proud of.

Cuala is setting new standards for club hurling in the capital; being the first Dublin team to win an All-Ireland club title and then the first club side from the capital to retain the Leinster title and we look forward to supporting this team every step of their journey.”

Speaking on behalf of Cuala hurling, Paul Schutte added:

“Davy is an outstanding Irish institution. Like ourselves, the drive for excellence at Davy is relentless and it is an organisation that has continued to break boundaries in their field since it was established in the 1920’s.

It is important to us to have a partner that reflects our values and Davy absolutely does this. We are delighted to have the Davy team on board and to work with such a respected and successful Irish brand.”
