About Ailsing Hurley

Aisling Hurley has over 35 years’ experience in the non-profit sector, having started out at the University of Limerick, assisting with the creation of the University of Limerick Foundation. This was followed by roles in CSS Ireland and then the Royal College of Surgeons as Director of Development.

In 2012, together with Prof Arnie Hill, a leading breast surgeon, she established Breast Cancer Ireland, securing its charitable status. Since then, BCI has raised over €25m from the public both from individual and corporate support. Aisling has been awarded many industry accolades as she continues to lead the development and expansion of Breast Cancer Ireland.
