RICS survey points to rising house prices for first time

This morning’s Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) survey indicates that the UK housing market is experiencing a sharp rebound, led by London and the South-East, with buyers and sellers returning to the market now that the uncertainty of Brexit has passed. The RICS house price balance rose to +17% in January, indicating for the first time since 2017 that a significant majority of estate agents reported rising prices.
