DAVY VIEW
The roll-out of deposit products by Avant Money has been well flagged and while we await a full suite of products to assess the overall impact, the rate is a larger premium to existing products. This approach is in contrast to the recently launched regular savings product from MoCo. While competition is increasing, Irish consumers have in recent years retained significant savings in demand and notice accounts and have not switched in a meaningful way to either term or rival providers.
