Company Profile
Howden Joinery is the leading trade supplier of kitchen and joinery products in the UK. The group sells exclusively to small builders and the trade sector from a network of depots spread throughout the UK with a sizeable amount of sales from products manufactured by Howdens. Howdens was established by Matthew Ingle in 1995 as a business unit of the former MFI Furniture Group. Since then, it has gained significant market share and achieved strong growth, most of which has been organic. It employs a unique and superior business model - operating and incentivising its network of depots locally. Howdens is almost entirely UK-focused, although it also has smaller operations in France and the Republic of Ireland.
